Product Designer
Turinglab, September 2021 - Present
Working for Turinglab I have created multiple reports assessing the impact of their educational courses, contributed to the development of their teaching platform by conducting user research and creating high and low fidelity product prototypes. I have also contributed to their various marketing channels, by creating illustrations, promotional videos, and by redeveloping their content for new campaigns.
Design Internship
Outlandish, July 2021 - September 2021
At Outlandish - a tech cooperative building campaign tools for left wing organisations - I conducted research for a number of client projects, including Read for Good, British Committee for Universities of Palestine, Counterfire and Debt Resistance UK. I created reports based on quantitative and qualitative research methods which influenced the direction various projects took, and the impact they ultimately had.

During my internship at the publishing house, Pierene Press, which specialises in translating contemporary literature, I was responsible for copy-editing and proof reading books at various stages of the publishing process. I sorted through submitted manuscripts and saw specific research tasks through to completion.

In the past five years I have worked on a number of design and illustration projects for organisations and start-ups on a freelance basis. This has included work for Imperial College’s Code lab, an alternative beer company, a sustainable fashion brand, and more.
Volunteeting
Wildlife Trust

I am a current volunteer for a few WLT groups which are involved in forest management - cutting Scots pines from heathland as part of heathland management, amongst other activities. I also hope to help with the maintenance of the Woodberry Wetlands in the near future.
Taste Before You Waste
January 2019 - February 2019
While studying at the University of Amsterdam I volunteered for an initiative focused on the prevention of food waste. Working as part of a large team we would take disregarded fruit and vegetables from local su- permarkets and use them to feed people in return for a donation.
Civic Soup

I volunteered for the Edinburgh based architecture and design collective Civic Soup, contributing to the development of the Wikihouse - a space where young people from the local community of Fountain bridge could engage with others and activities.
Recetas Urbanas
January 2017 - February 2017
I worked amongst a group of volunteers to help construct a library and class room in Madrid. The scheme was run by the architecture firm Recetas Urbanas in an attempt to highlight the value of community projects.
